The Scandic hotel in Helsinki had a fantastic location, just a short walk to public transport and local attractions. The breakfast selection was impressive, with a wide range of options including gluten-free and vegan choices that made mornings a delight. The room was spacious and comfortable, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. Staff were incredibly helpful, especially when arranging our luggage storage on check-out day. However, the in-room ventilation did not allow for full control of the temperature, making it a bit warm for my taste. Additionally, the elevators were slow, and I had to wait longer than expected at times. Overall, a great stay with some areas for improvement.

The hotel prepared a breakfast bag for me when I was leaving for an early flight, and that was a real lifesaver! The help from the hotel clerk when I forgot my backpack was great. They handled it all quickly.
