The Scandic hotel in Helsinki had a fantastic location, just a short walk to public transport and local attractions. The room was spacious and comfortable, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. Staff were incredibly helpful, especially when arranging our luggage storage on check-out day. However, the in-room ventilation did not allow for full control of the temperature, making it a bit warm for my taste. Additionally, the elevators were slow, and I had to wait longer than expected at times. Overall, a great stay with some areas for improvement.

Recommend it for solo travelers
The hotel prepared a breakfast bag for me when I was leaving for an early flight, and that was a real lifesaver! Also, the help from the hotel clerk when I forgot my backpack was top-notch. they handled it all quickly.
It definitely wasn't inexpensive for what I got, but it was still acceptable.

Room was spacious with a kitchenette and a comfortable seating area. The private bathroom had a walk-in shower. Fitness centre was nice for a workout. The bed was super cozy, and we had a tv with lots of channels. The breakfast spread was varied and delicious. Great amenities overall.
